Moving Rocks: Racetrack, Death Valley, 2005; Yes, these rocks do move, and without human intervention. When the rare rains fall in this remote area of Death Valley, the clay becomes very slippery. Strong winds will then push these massive rocks along the lake bed--leaving behind a scar that hardens as the desert sun dries the Racetrack again. *All images and gift items print without the watermark*
